Raya at Dawa House: Daniel Cheang Special ‘Mee Kari’ x Moonkitaa Club Open House

This Raya, Moonkitaa Club collaborated with Daniel Cheang to create an experience that celebrated the traditions, flavours, and spirit of the festive season. Bringing together Daniel's renowned Mee Kari Penang and Moonkitaa's community-driven workshops, the event invited guests to experience Raya through food, creativity, and connection.

Guests were welcomed into a home-inspired setting designed to evoke the comfort of an open house. Alongside Daniel's signature Mee Kari Penang, a selection of festive treats was served throughout the day, encouraging guests to gather, share meals, and enjoy the relaxed pace of a Raya afternoon.

Beyond the dining table, guests participated in a series of interactive activities curated by Moonkitaa Club. From learning the basics of Tulisan Jawi to folding traditional sampul Raya, the workshops offered a hands-on opportunity to engage with cultural practices that continue to shape Malaysian celebrations today.
